Ian “Banksy” Banks, also known as “Papa Smurf,” is a managing director from Chelmsford born on October 2, 1968, who enjoys Kasabian, snow skiing, curry, mountain biking, and adventure, and dislikes lazy people. Racing with the number 54, Ian started his racing career in 1989, competing in the 550 class, and achieved titles such as British Freestyle Champion in 1993 and 1994 and placed 9th in the World Finals at Havasu in 1993. His favorite pre-race routine is making sure his bladder is empty.
