JSRA ONLY classes.

The following classes are JSRA ONLY classes. These class rules DO NOT conform with any other racing associations rule book. These are JSRA only rules created with the intention to bring more people into the sport.

Vintage 550

  • Stock hull / OEM top deck
  • Stock crank cases
  • No power-valves
  • External fuel filler using oem / approved fuel fillers hose

Vintage x2

  • X2 Hull
  • 2-cylinder 2 stroke engine
  • Maximum displacement 850cc
  • No power-valves
  • External fuel filler using oem / approved fuel fillers hose

Ski modified

  • 1200cc limit
  • Aftermarket hull allowed
  • Aftermarket jet pumps allowed
  • No turbos or superchargers

Clubman classes

The Clubman classes have been created to bring more people into the sport.

These classes are designed for individuals who own a ski, want to try racing but DO NOT conform to the standard rules. 

The aim is for potential racers to take a dip into the sport, without having to take the plunge and look into rebuilding their skis to fit the standard rule book.

Runabout Clubman

  • Hull from an oem manufacturer
  • Engine to be same manufacturer as hull
  • Slight modification allowed within reason (JSRA official discretion)
  • Aftermarket parts allowed
  • 1900cc engine limit
  • No turbo's
  • No silly or purpose built builds
  • CCrafts to be assessed by a JSRA official

Ski Clubman

  • Hull from an oem manufacturer
  • Engine to be from an oem manufacturer
  • Aftermarket parts allowed
  • 1500cc engine limit
  • No silly builds or purpose built builds
  • Crafts to be assessed by a JSRA official
