James “Bushie” Bushell, the owner of 158 Performance from Wisbech, was born on February 8, 1984, and enjoys snowboarding, golf, and jet ski racing. Racing with the number 158, which he was given when he started on the Corona Euro Tour in 2003, he began his racing career in 2000. He has competed in various classes, including Ski Lites, Ski GP, Sport GP, Naturally Aspirated, Runabout Stock, and Runabout GP. With numerous British championships, 11 world titles, multiple European championships, two King’s Cup wins, the 2012 Dubai championship, and the Morocco Night Race champion title, James’s favorite race memory is winning the 2011 Pro Runabout Open by lapping most of the field. For the 2024 season, he will be riding a Seadoo RXP built by 158 Performance, with sponsorship from 158 Performance, Jet Pilot, Lucas Oil, TVS Group, and Seadoo Centre.
